Holiday in New South Wales - Australia

New South Wales lies in the southeast of the Australian continent. In the north, NSW borders on Queensland, in the south on Victoria and in the west on South Wales. The east coast opens out to the Tasmanian Sea.
For holidaymakers, NSW is a land of plenty. Different nature landscapes allow for almost all leisure activities apart from a moon walk. Tourists can relax on the magnificent beaches of NSW and try out all kinds of water sports and nevertheless schuss down the skiing slope of Mount Kosciusko the next day.
In Blue Mountains National Park, visitors can hike through the wild, craggy scenery, climb, visit mysterious stalactite caves or explore the landscape by mountain bike.
Warrumbungle National Park offers interested tourists an excursion into the past, when volcanic eruptions shaped the landscape millions of years ago. In the Siding Spring Observatorium, on the other hand, visitors can catch a glimpse of the future. Hills End, a deserted booms town, Broken Hill, a former silver mine, and the opal mines near Lightning Ridge are also well worth seeing.
About thirty percent of all Australians live in NSW, especially in the big cities. One of the most attractive cities is Sydney, the capital of New South Wales. Sydney possesses monumental buildings of perfect architecture, such as the world-famous Opera House, the Sydney Tower, the lovely Harbour Bridge or the ANZAC Memorial. The Art Gallery of NSW offers, apart from contemporary art, also a steadily increasing collection of Aboriginal works.
