Winter sports areas in Germany
Now is the time that winter starts. For lots of people it is the season for practicing some skiing. However, lots of winter sports areas can be found all over the world. Also Germany has some really beautiful and popular skiing regions to offer. Most of the German skiing regions are situated in the German part of the Alps, i.e. in Bavaria . The most famous skiing regions in the German part of the Alps are Immenstadt, Oberstdorf, Oberstaufen, Oberammergau, Unterammergau, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Bad Tölz, Berchtesgaden and Tegernsee. All these skiing regions are not only characterized by lots of wonderful slopes but also by lots of wonderful hotels, summer cottages and vacation homes that are always used by many visitors.
