Daytona Beach - located in the county of Florida - is well known for the beach which is 37 kilometers long and which you can even access with your car or motor-bike when cruising with a very low speed. The beachs is lined with some hotels and vacation homes. When having good weather conditions there’s really interesting life there. Like an amusement park with sales booths, sand yachts and surfers. Daytona beach is famous for that way of easy going for the most visitors. There are two large events with a really high number of many thousands of visitors. One example is the so called „spring break”. A yearly festivity of American students. Not only the students are celebrating themselfes with a really big party this is where people from all parts of America meet. Second big event is the yearly bike week. It is propably the world’s largest Harley Davidson gathering. The motorcyclists begin their cruising on the highway no. 1 from right here.
Daytona beach is a very nice place to make holiday not only for people wanting to make holiday at the beach. Many possibilities for your leisure activities or just for relaxing. For example the Adventure Landing - a water park with a go kart lane - or Angell & Phelps a chocolate manufacture where you can see the creation of chocolates.
Before returning to your hotel or your vacation home you can enjoy the city’s night-life which is partly as crazy as some of the people here in Florida. Daytona Beach is one of the cities in the country of endless opportunities where the life on the beach and the pleasure of living plays an important part in the life.
